Honey - Lilac - Cream - Tangerine

Finca La Guachoca sits between 1400 and 1600 meters above sea level near Canton Lomas de San Marcelino and in the hills of the now extinct Cerro Verde volcano. Maria Pacas and her family purchased the farm in 2009 (in pretty rough shape from what we understand) and replanted most of the land. They’ve brought modern picking and processing techniques to La Guachoca which is a huge part of the quality they deliver. The farm also has insanely fertile soil so they’ve been able to grow very healthy coffee shrubs over the years.

This is a very sweet and jammy coffee! Right away we tasted fresh lemon curd and orange marmalade. As a brewed coffee it has some deep honey notes that balance the cup nicely. As the coffee cools some light floral flavors emerge, lilac and rose linger in the finish.
