We found Ephemera to be a fitting blend name given the meaning of the word. Espresso ought to be cherished & enjoyed but in our opinion it shouldn't sit anywhere near as long as we deem acceptable for a cup of brewed coffee. It also should be appreciated not for its volume but for the complexity of flavor which 9 bars of pressure can condense into a few small sips - quite lovely indeed.

Ephemera consists of:

60% Colombia Hernando Chantre (washed)

40% Rwanda Musasa Ruli (washed)

The profile is dense and complex. Concord grape notes are punchy and winey right at the first sip. Mulling spices and cinnamon stick come into play as the espresso cools a bit. Molasses sweetness can be tasted throughout the duration of the beverage, and really cuts through milk in a nice way.
