Bergamot - Lavender - Orange

Limu Kossa is the name of a region in the Oromia district of Ethiopia as well as a privately owned farm in the area. Gidhey is the name of the man who owns the farm - he's been in the coffee industry for a long time & practices careful processing (commonly categorized as a washed process but really a hybrid between washed and pulped natural) on his 1900 MASL grown cherries & exports high grade lots which are certified organic (on his part, neither the importer of the coffee nor ourselves have jumped through the proper hoops to keep that certification).

Regardless of certifications this coffee is outstandingly clean tasting. Immediately we taste bergamot and lavender, lemonade and honey flavors to follow. As the coffee cools it tastes more and more like an earl grey with honey. Extremely floral and sweet as a brewed cup and also presents some interesting flavors as espresso.
