Luis Valdes owns Finca Santa Isabel which sits near San Cristóbal Verapaz in the Coban region of Nicaragua. The farm has produced coffee since 1965 and sits between 1400-1600 meters above sea level. Luis Valdes and family grow a mix of varietals and produce exclusively washed coffees.

This is a nice and sweet coffee with deep chocolate, raw walnut, fresh tangerine and lemon curd notes. It also has a very sweet finish which reminded us of honey or brown sugar. As well as being a great brewed coffee - this one works great as a single origin espresso.
