Edgar Amador’s farm sits on the mountain range between Jinotega and Matagalpa Nicaragua, roughly 1300 meters above sea level. Mr. Amador focuses heavily on quality & good processing practices on his beautiful Yellow Catuai and Red Caturra shrubs. This lot is 100% Yellow Catuai and has a very very interesting profile.

The coffee overall is very malty with a brown sugar sweetness. As a pour-over, highlights of lime and pineapple start to emerge as the coffee cools. We also taste some really interesting florals, reminiscent of honeysuckle and fresh mosaic hops.
