Blue Copper Coffee began in 2012 with a goal to bring high-quality specialty coffee to the Salt Lake Valley and beyond. We purchase exceptional green coffee and roast each origin with care to highlight the inherent complexity of every bean. Our coffees are sourced from reputable importers and producers with transparent supply chains and fair, transparent pricing.

We opened Coffee Room in 2014 as a place to serve our coffee the way we think it should be prepared. Located in Salt Lake City's Central Ninth neighborhood, the café offers a full menu of espresso drinks, brewed coffee, tea, and a small selection of pastries in a comfortable, neighborhood-focused space. We use equipment we trust—including Synesso espresso machines and Mahlkönig grinders—to help every cup taste the way it was intended.

We roast on a San Franciscan SF-25 outfitted with modern controls that allow for highly repeatable, consistent roast profiles. Every roast is regularly cupped and evaluated for quality and consistency, with the goal of honoring all of the work that came before us—from the producer to the final cup—while bringing out the unique character of each coffee.
